Tasty Tuesday ~ Pumpkin!

As a treat I bought Skipper a dog-intended meal mixer with Pumpkin and Chicken. The label included only whole, one-word, wholesome sounding fruit/veggie ingredients that I was fairly certain Skipper would like. He can be picky about treats, so nothing is ever guaranteed with him.

But I was right! I love how clearly you can see how his eyes are turning amber. The two-tone effect of the moment is gorgeous!

Of course, in the pet store we had to try on some costumes...not that Skip was as thrilled as I was.

Finally, I shared some of my human-intended Pumpkin/Autumn soup with him for dinner!

Monday Mischief ~ Posing Practice!

Skipper was very happy to discover his "family" in a magazine at the petstore last week. Rat Terriers are still a fairly unrecognized breed, and it's hard to find a breed book/magazine that contains a profile on them! As you can see by his expression, Skipper is greatly encouraged by any publicity ratties recieve.

He is becoming much less content to sit in the cart on trips now--constantly perched perilously halfway over the side, ready to leap out if I give him the smallest chance. I'm so glad he gets his last puppy shot today, we can finally start taking walks!
